BIO

Bishop Eugene Reeves is a native of Forrest City, Arkansas.  He is a graduate of the University of Southern Arkansas, Arkansas Baptist College and Andersonville Baptist Seminary.  He holds an A.A.S. in Computer Science, a B.A. in Biblical Studies, a B.S. in Business Administration, an M.A. in Counseling, Masters of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry.

A husband and father, Bishop Reeves is married to Evangelist Ollie Reeves, better known as "Lady O".  Together, they are the proud parents of two children, Latashia and Demetrius, and six grandchildren, Jacob II, Joshua, Decavien, Deshaun, Demetrius Jr. and McKynzie.

Bishop Reeves officially accepted his call to the ministry in 1976 at the Bibleway Church of God in Christ under Superintendent Rochester Rodgers where he was licensed in 1978.  Two years later, in 1980, he was ordained an Elder by Bishop D.L. Lindsey of North Little Rock, Arkansas and later became Assistant Pastor. Soon after, he served as an Assistant Pastor in Killeen, Texas and later pastored in Fulda, West Germany.  In September 2001, Pastor Eugene Reeves was consecrated Bishop and later received official Apostolic Succession in the International Community of Christian Churches (ICCC) under Archbishop Van Gayton.  Currently, Bishop Reeves serves as the General Secretary for the House of Bishops.

A true visionary, Bishop Reeves is the founder and Senior Pastor of New Life Anointed Ministries International also known as "The Life".  In thirteen years, through his guidance and leadership, New Life has grown from the initial five members to over 3,100 and still growing.  The church recently purchased 23 acres of land and is in the process of building a 3,000 seat facility complete with centers for learning, women's recovery, business development, youth activity center, daycare, an elementary/middle school (K- 8th grade), a credit union, and facilities for its 97 ministries.

With God's wisdom, Bishop Reeves provides spiritual covering for churches in Colorado, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland and the District of Columbia. In addition, he provides oversight for churches in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Panama, Guyana, The Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.  He has preached and conducted pastoral training in Europe, Africa, North America and South America.

Bishop Reeves is an anointed preacher, insightful teacher, and visionary. Through his leadership and life-changing messages, many pastors, business owners, community leaders and political leaders have been inspired and directed toward the Cross of Jesus Christ.  Because of his unwavering faith in God, the Kingdom of God's agenda has been advanced. The greatest testimony of Bishop Reeves is that he loves the Lord!
